Location: Hong Kong

Your Role
  • Be responsible for all data queries raised by the corresponding regional clients and counterparts in a timely manner
  • Monitor automated/manual data maintenance processes and contribute to quality improvements regarding quality checks and monitoring processes
  • Ensure accurate and timely Instrument set ups and updates both manual and automated
  • Ensure that all country specific requirements regarding pricing and master data tasks are met
  • Support local Investment Operations teams / Accountants
  • Support the establishment, maintenance, validation, description, accessibility and distribution of high quality data
  • Follow up with third parties to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain and enhance regional instrument know how also being able to analyze different scenarios regarding new instrument requirements
  • Align with Asset Managers and Data Vendors to follow up on issues if necessary
  • Monitor and report interface problems regarding vendor feeds
  • Performs assigned project tasks, as well as customer specific pricing and master data tasks
  • Prepare monthly hard close process and lead the closing in local country
Your Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in systems and basic investment operations and/or market & master data management
  • Experience with financial markets in general and especially with the treatment of various different types of financial instruments
  • Experience with business analyses and requirements engineering
  • Sound knowledge of financial instruments, such as Debts, Equities, Money Market, etc., and markets including structured securities
  • Familiar with terminal products of Bloomberg or similar data vendors
  • Proficiency in Excel and sound knowledge of investment software systems (e.g. SAP FSCM), data management systems (e.g. CADIS, GAIN, Bloomberg Polarlake) and data vendor feeds (e.g. Bloomberg Backoffice and Per Security) will be an advantage
