Senior Manager, Operational Excellence

Location: Hong Kong

Your Role
  • Identify opportunities for improving business performance with a focus on customer service and cost efficiency
  • Map the customer journey/customer value stream to identify and measure "Moments of Truth" to enhance customer experience through process enhancements, automation or digitalization
  • Develop Lean capability through training and coaching across all levels of the region
  • Measure and improve the utilization of resources by eliminating non value added activities and create transparency on rigidity and predict resource requirement based on historical demand to optimize resource level
  • Lead, influence, diagnose and help develop recommendations to solve complex operational specific ambiguous problems
  • Act in a facilitation and quality review capacity on Operations projects leading to measurable benefits and results
  • Analyse operational metrics/reports to ensure specific metrics and measures are incorporated into solutions enabling continuous improvement
  • Provide initiative and project input to various individuals within the Project Management, Business Architect and business improvement communities
  • Act as a resource across many projects to provide common business design and leverage across projects to achieve greater benefits
  • Provide professional consultation on issues such as business processes, workflow, productivity, quality and organizational design
  • Support, lead and implement Operational Excellence change programs as it relates to performance improvement


Your Skills and Experience  
  • Black Belt certified with project management certification or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; experience in a global and/or financial services organization is preferable
  • Strong in utilizing a recognized methodology for reviewing current business processes, identifying problems and opportunities, and re-engineering processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness
  • A broad understanding of operational efficiency and the effective use of metrics to drive process improvement
  • Strong relationship management skills with experience in partnering and building credibility with senior leaders
