Your Role
  • Focus on local, experienced and timely product research, design, development and build HK Life Products for distribution across the full range of customer segments and distribution channels
  • Develop a proposition strategy that positions Zurich most effectively and facilitate expansion of distribution channels and new business
  • Maximize the sales potential and profitability of the existing and new propositions through the design, pricing and marketing campaigns
  • Actively manage the existing propositions across product life cycles to ensure they continue to meet the needs of our distribution channels and customers, including proposition performance reviews
  • Develop and oversee the governance of funds under management including monitoring, reporting and managing fund manager performance
  • Coordinate, influence and control all aspects of method and approach to market for all new and existing products and propositions; also leverage across multiple geographic as applicable
  • Monitor market conditions and trends to identify new product ideas and opportunities
  • Work with the distribution channels in exploring potential new business opportunities
  • Ensure contract negotiations and performance reviews of external product/service providers maximize the value of the relationship and manage effectively the risks arising
  • Lead the product approval submission and discussion with SFC and regional office/head office and actively manage their expectations
  • Manage and develop the proposition team capabilities

 

Your Skills and Experience 
  • Minimum 8 years of life insurance experience specifically in product development and market intelligence
  • Candidate with actuarial background is preferable
  • Extensive knowledge of HK life insurance market and implication from economic environment
  • Sound knowledge of Hong Kong insurance products and regulatory filing process and practices
  • Excellent in project management plus strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen plus high level of integrity and professionalism
