Assistant Manager, Property Claims (General Insurance)

Responsible for large and complex property and engineering insurance claim
Provide technical support to the team
Assist the Claims Manager in managerial tasks and other ad hoc tasks
Adhere to local regulatory and governance requirements throughout the life of the claim to ensure that decisions are made using the right standards.
Comply with customer protocols/service charter
Your Skills and Experience
Preferably Bachelor degree or above with minimum 5 years’ experience in Property including engineering claims preferably with large and complex claims management skill
Achieved recognised industry standard (e.g. Senior Associate of ANZIIF)
Technical claims handling knowledge of commercial and retail Property & Engineering products
Data analytical skill is preferred
Understand local legislation and legal liability
Understand industry standards and protocol
Interpretation of policy over Knowledge and application of the litigation process
Has extensive experience with all major aspects of the claims adjustment process
