- Occupational Therapy
Location: Hong Kong
(i) Nutritional Studies
(iii) Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy
(a) To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement;
(b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
(c) To develop programme curriculum and training materials;
(d) To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and
(e) To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.
(a) A relevant recognized degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification;
(b) At least 3 years’ relevant teaching experience and/or industry experience;
(c) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and
(d) For the Nutritional Studies stream:
(i) Proven record of applied research and writing research proposal;
(ii) Work experience in hospital food catering under ISO22000 system; and
(iii) Applicants possessing the qualification as a sports trainer and sports nutrition knowledge would have an advantage;
(e) For the Optometry stream:
(i) Qualification as a registered Optometrist (Part 1) in Hong Kong; and
(ii) Applicants possessing relevant teaching experience in Optometry would have an advantage; and
(f) For the Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy stream:
(i) Qualification as a registered Physiotherapist / registered Occupational Therapist under the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance and have a valid practicing certificate issued by the relevant boards in Hong Kong.
(1) Valid documentary evidence must be provided for the relevant industry / teaching experience and professional qualifications.
(2) Shortlisted applicants will be required to take a written assessment in English.
(3) The appointee may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and at different work locations as assigned.
