The appointee will be responsible for all aspects of academic activities which include: providing quality teaching; engaging in programme development and validation exercises; taking initiatives in conducting research and publications; participating in professional and community services to promote the College and strengthen its local and international standing and networks; and taking up responsibilities in programme and School administration.
Successful appointee at Professor/Associate Professor level is expected to take a leadership role in promoting good teaching and collaborative research; increasing the publication output and raising the level of consultancies in respective discipline(s); guiding the College in enhancing its visibility and strengthening its local and international standing and connections; and taking up responsibilities in the college/school administration.
Applicants should possess a doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline and with a valid registration certificate of the Hong Kong Supplementary Medical Professions Council. They should have at least 10 years (for Professor), 7 years (for Associate Professor) and 3 years (for Assistant Professor) of work experience in teaching and programme development with demonstration of leadership skills. Engagement in research with publications in international refereed journals is required. Successful appointee is also expected to have established good networks with business/professional leaders in the profession/trade. Applicants with a master degree may be considered for the post of Senior Lecturer or Lecturer.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
