Job Description

Purchasing Officer

Location: Kwun Tong

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for food and non-food materials sourcing
  • Responsible for new materials and OEM sourcing to fulfil business development needs
  • Ensure suppliers are in compliance with company’s requirements (e.g. quality, delivery performance etc.)
  • Conduct suppliers and OEM auditing with QA and R&D Department
  • Handle comparison, re-selection and evaluation of suppliers regularly to ensure the competitiveness of cost and quality
  • Any ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Higher diploma or above in Purchasing/ Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in F&B or food manufacturing industry
  • Must be familiar with procurement of food and non-food products
  • Strong market sense and commercial awareness
  • Self-motivated with good communication skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
