Part-time Instructors (English)

Location: Kwai Hing

We are now inviting application(s) for the following posts in the LiPACE:

Part-time Instructors (English) (Ref.: 16-PTI-330-O)

Duties

The appointees will be responsible for

  1. conducting English learning and teaching activities at senior secondary level (in an EDB pilot scheme programme on vocation English) on a part-time basis (day-time);
  2. conducting assessment activities and marking of assessment papers;
  3. assisting in course material development;
  4. participating in professional development programme activities.

Requirements

Applicants should have a Bachelor degree in English or English language education, with at least one year’s experience in teaching secondary school English. Applicants should also have a relevant English teaching qualification, such as Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Majoring in English). Immediate availability will be an advantage.

All shortlisted applicants may be invited to have teaching demonstration during the interview.

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on temporary part-time fixed term contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
