Lecturer (Criminology) (at the rank of Programme Manager) (Ref: 16-PM-282-O)
The appointee will be required to undertake programme/course planning, development, coordination and delivery (including classroom teaching).He/she will also be engaged in professional activities and participate in Institute/University activities.
Applicants should normally possess a higher degree in Criminology, Police Studies or a related discipline with professional qualifications in such subject areas. Relevant professional experience in the related subject areas and/or teaching/administration experience in tertiary/continuing education is required. He/she should also possess good interpersonal skills and be proficient in both Chinese (preferably including Putonghua) and English. Applicants with less experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Lecturer (at the rank of Programme Officer).
Terms of Appointment
Successful candidatewill be appointed on a full-time fixed term contract. Fringe benefits will include annual leave, medical & dental benefits, life insurance coverage and gratuity, where applicable. A variable pay may also be granted on the basis of performance.
