Senior Executive Officer (Ref. 16101104-IE)

Senior Executive Officer (Ref. 16101104-IE) 


The appointee will be required to: 

(a)   provide administrative support to academic programmes and research matters; 

(b)   provide secretarial support to committees, working groups and/or tasks forces; 

(c)   supervise marketing and promotional events, as well as public and media relations activities; and 

(d)   perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Dean of Faculty or his delegates. 


Applicants should: 

(a)   have a recognised degree or above; 

(b)   have at least eight years of post-qualification solid administrative and supervisory experience, with some of which gained in tertiary institutions or sizable organizations; 

(c)   have good knowledge of planning and organization of marketing and promotional activities; 

(d)   have a high level of competency in committee work and report compilation; 

(e)   have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, and preferably with fluency in Putonghua; 

(f)    have good analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills; and 

(g)   be able to work independently but can also be a good team player. 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written language proficiency test.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service 

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
