The appointee will be required to:

(a) assist in planning and implementing the overall marketing strategy for the arts and cultural programmes including the design and production of marketing materials as well as digital marketing;

(b) support the development of and organize the arts and cultural programmes including all logistics and on-site operational matters;

(c) maintain good relations and act as a coordinator with different arts and cultural organizations, performing arts groups, artists, student associations and staff;

(d) prepare agenda, minutes and papers for the working groups;

(e) plan and monitor budget as well as to oversee all administrative matters of the promotion of arts and culture on campus; and

(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Office or his/her delegates.

The appointee will be required to work beyond normal office hours when necessary.


Applicants should have:

(a) a recognised degree plus at least five years of relevant experience in arts and culture related fields;

(b) extensive and very good connections with arts and culture related fields;

(c) outstanding leadership, problem-solving skills, self-initiatives and a strong sense of responsibility;

(d) experience in finance and management;

(e) well-versed skills in digital marketing and preferably with sound knowledge of computer applications, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and HTML webpage implementation;

(f) an excellent command of English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua; and

(g) excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written language proficiency test.
