Job Description

Warden / Fitness Instructor

You will:

  • To be responsible for the daily lives of the apprentices and racing trainees in the evening and throughout the night
  • To aid the senior programme officer, riding instructor and curriculum co-ordinator on all aspects of the trainees’ personal, academic and fitness development
  • To organize and supervise indoor and outdoor training activities in the afternoon and evening
  • To ensure that racing trainees comply with hostel regulations and deal with cases of emergency
  • To document the performance and conduct of racing trainees in the hostel and submit a monthly written report to the Officer
  • To be on duty/ stand-by duty from 4:30 p.m. till 4:30 a.m. the next day


You should:

  • have a post-secondary qualification with teaching and/or sports training experience (prior experience in hostel management is a distinct advantage)
  • be a qualified fitness instructor
  • possess proven integrity
  • be a self-starter who can show clear initiative and a good sense of responsibility
  • be proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Be favourable if you can speak Putonghua.
  • possess a driving licence which will be considered an advantage
