Job Description

Senior Project Manager / Project Manager, Charities

To be part of the project teams, you will:    

  • oversee the preparation and implementation of the project by developing project plans and collaborating with project partners to plan and implement the project
  • assist the Project Director or Senior Manager to supervise the internal team to steer the direction, monitor the progress, budget spending and evaluation of the project
  • engage different stakeholders including but not limited to academics, relevant welfare organisations, government departments, professional bodies and kindergarten principals and teachers (for the education related project) to disseminate the project concept through publications, conferences, best practice forums, focus group meetings, etc.
  • prepare progress report and provide secretarial support and prepare progress report for the Steering Committee and working groups of the project
  • liaise with consultant and partnering team on the evaluation and research work
  • supervise in publicity events and activities of the project

Requirements

You should have:

  • a Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines e.g., Education, Social Sciences, or Communication
  • at least 10 years' working experience in fund or charity / community project management  
  • solid experience in dealing with government, NGOs, schools and professional bodies would be an added advantage
  • excellent writing skills (in both English and Chinese) and interpersonal / communication skills
  • strong passion in charities work and community services
  • strong personal drive with innovative mindset
  • ability to work independently as well as collaboratively for teamwork
