Job Description

Claims Supervisor

You will

  • be responsible for handling, assessing and approving customer dividend claims in accordance with the Club’s rules and policies, authority limits and to ensure performance pledges and KPIs are met
  • be analytical and tactful in drafting correspondence and investigation reports on claim matters
  • monitor operational flow, allocate resources and work with relevant business parties to accomplish end-to-end customer centricity
  • contribute to the annual exercise of audits, reviews and drills to safeguard the integrity and professionalism of the claims and lottery operations
  • in-charge of the weekly Mark Six Draw operations and the necessary control and administration
  • review processes, identify areas of improvements and ensure successful implementation of procedures for service efficiencies
  • take part in departmental / company projects and support the Claims Manager in implementation and execution of new initiatives

Qualification

You should have

  • tertiary education with a minimum of 5 years' working experience at supervisory level, preferably in general insurance, banking, legal or customer services field
  • excellent written communication ability and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese, knowledge in Putonghua will be an asset
  • the proactiveness and willingness to take ownership and be a good team player
  • proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of Chinese typing
  • strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • knowledge of horse racing and football will be an advantage
  • willingness to work on shift duties including holidays
