Assistant Manager (Leasing) - Retail (Ref: AMLR)

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of quality retail properties and lease marketing of new projects and shopping mall. He/ She will assist the manager to lead the leasing team to work on new letting, renewals, direct marketing, market research, budget preparation and tenancy administration for shopping malls and retail properties. Further duties include managing day-to-day business operations and strategic planning of trade-mix, co-ordination of takeover and handover of premises, management of fitting-out works and renovation works, co-ordination with related parties on property management, monitoring of rates administration and ad hoc duties. The incumbent will also explore new clients through business connections and marketing events.
  • University degree or related professional qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, leasing, liaison with tenants and prospects as well as tenancy administration
  • Good understanding of retail leasing practice such as trade-mix and mall positioning with adequate retail-market sense
  • Experience with property developers or international real estate agency firms
  • Proactive, customer oriented and good networking with retailers and restaurant operators
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese with proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
  • Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements, regulations and licensing requirements
