Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, one of the world's premier hotel companies, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Security Systems Manager to join our team based in the company headquarters in Hong Kong.  Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Security, the incumbent will be responsible for:


  • Ongoing review and update of security policy and procedures
  • Ensure the strategic development of security systems are in line with business requirements
  • Conduct systems reviews, assessments and audits
  • Provide training and advice for hotels’ Directors of Security
  • Oversee and monitor the installation of security systems for all new hotel projects
  • Maintain close contact with other security professionals, stay abreast of new developments in security related advances in technology
  • Review technical elements of tender submissions from security systems companies


  • Relevant tertiary education qualification
  • Min. 8 years experience in the areas of security operations / administration
  • Connection with law enforcement or military parties in Hong Kong and PRC
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Excellent knowledge of information technology
  • Strong project management skills
  • A team player with an eye to details
  • Excellent command of English, knowledge of Chinese is preferred
  • Exposure in hospitality industry would be an advantage
