Merchant Relationship / Partnership Manager - CRM / Loyalty

About the company

Our client is a listed company with wide range of services covering both Hong Kong and International markets. Currently, they are looking for enthusiastic talents to be part of their CRM Team.

You will be an integral member of the growing CRM business, responsible for merchant acquisition and account management, as well as being involved in business development aspect. You will interface closely with the technical team, marketing and business operations team. You will also need to have strong salesmanship and marketing acumen, and as well as effective project management skills. You should also be fluent in managing multi-stakeholders and be comfortable in analytics and senior management engagement.

Roles & Responsibilities include:
1. Merchant Acquisition
  • To develop merchant expansion strategies and plan for domestic marketplace that commensurates with the CRM branding and customers' needs
  • To lead the merchant acquisition efforts including prospecting and development of necessary marketing tools
  • To be responsible for the merchant onboarding up to point of contracting and / or renewals, before handing over to the operations Team for on-boarding ops and day-to-day support
2. Account Management
  • In charge of the accounts and sales targets of merchants under your care
  • Continually review the performance of your merchants, work with them to strategically conceive new business ideas to grow performance which may include range expansion, marketing or partnerships etc.
  • You shall continually maintain good relationship and provide value add to your partners to improve performance on the platform
3. Business Development
  • To work closely with the Business Head to develop new business ideas to improve performance
  • Drive the entire business pitch and implementation for new ideas such as business case analysis, seeking management buy-in, operationalisation and budget / ROI management
Key Performance Measurements include:
  • Merchant Acquisition
  • Product Range Expansion
  • First-to-Launch or Exclusive Brands / Products / Concepts introduced
  • Merchant Satisfaction
  • New Business Development Ideas & Implementations
  • Degree Holder with at least 8 years of relevant experience
  • Merchant Acquisition / Partnership Development experience is necessary
  • Comprehensive CRM Marketing knowledge would be a plus
  • Strong industry networks and contacts
  • Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight timelines
