MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


1. To act as an assistant to the Senior Cook and assume the duties and responsibilities of the Senior Cook in his absence.

2. To be responsible for daily mis-en-place for the section.

3. To be responsible for the upkeep of operating equipment and the sanitation of the butcher shop.

4. To be responsible for getting requisitions from the storeroom.

5. To clean and prepare vegetables including fresh, frozen and canned vegetables.

6. To assist in producing fish, poultry, game and meat cut in various portion weights as required.

7. To clean and store meat, poultry, game, fish and seafood according to the proper procedures.

8. To clean up the section area after service and maintain the cleanliness of the area.

9. To provide assistance to other colleagues whenever necessary.

10. To perform any other duties as assigned by Senior Cook
