Manager, Application Management

Location: Hong Kong

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management, team management and vendor management in alignment of established business and IT strategy

  • Supervise systems analysis and design for projects with greater scope and higher complexity and in line with company IT application and infrastructure directions

  • Maintain highly effective development and project teams to deliver solutions to meet with business targets and ensure auditory and regulatory compliance

  • IT development and vendor resources planning and projects prioritization according the business priority assigned and resources availability

  • Manage the systems development life cycle in compliance with the Systems Development Methodology and guidelines including feasibility study, requirements specification, design specification, programming, testing and implementation.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Studies, or related disciplines

  • Minimum 10 years working experience in Information Technology with at least 2 years as a Senior Systems Analyst

  • Solid experience in leading projects of various size

  • Experience in Insurance Package, Imaging & Workflow, Mobile technology, Call Centre Systems, Web Portals, Single Customer View Platform, Data Warehouse and Campaign Management System

  • Knowledge in Informix, DB2 / DB2 iSeries, Sybase, Visual Basic, .NET, Java and Powerbuilder programming language, Windows, Unix and iSeries (AS/400) environment, Database structures and design, WEB development technology
