Contract Assistant Manager, Life Operations Enhancement

Location: Hong Kong

Responsibilities:
 

  • Act as liaison between department end-users and IT Application Teams on large scale projects and complex production problems
  • Prepare workflow documents, user requirements, test plans and testing related documents, with suggestion on changes of current business processes
  • Lead and co-ordinate UAT, ensure the project timeline are met with high accuracy
  • Assist the Manager in planning and monitoring the project schedule
  • Coordinate with department end-users on system enhancements, business projects, complex product launch and campaign management
  • Prepare user manual, conduct user training and handle user enquiry on system changes independently
  • Support the analysis of complex production problem and coordinate with IT Application Teams and department end-users for problem fixing.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by project manager / supervisor
     

Requirements:
 

  • Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related disciplines
  • FLMI destination is an advantage
  • At least 8 years business analysis and project related experience in insurance and/or banking and finance sectors with solid supervisory experience.
  • Possess knowledge of business processes in the Life Insurance industry is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good project management, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Able to handle multi-task, and be flexible, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
