Finance & Accounting at P&G plays a leadership role in strategy setting, decision making, business planning and analysis across all aspects of the business. In addition, we lead Company efforts in Tax, Treasury, M&A, Corporate Strategy, Accounting and Internal Controls. Within the Business Units, you will work as the finance leader on a multi-functional team responsible for a brand or category. Within these teams, you will find strong collaboration among team members and an environment where all opinions are valued and encouraged to be shared. The focus is to win as a team with strong individual contributions
Your internship will provide you with early responsibility in the following areas: Business planning to set/manage short and long term goals for sales and/or cost targets, this includes identifying key opportunities to exceed current targets and how to avoid future business risks; financial analysis on plans or projects (such as marketing plan elements like couponing, sampling, customer merchandising/promotions etc.) to determine payout of projects and to set direction for future plans; an understanding of key external market trends including competitive benchmarking, retailer and sales channel analysis; and pricing analysis on new/potential price points with timing/implementation options.
Now, P&G is calling for young talents to take the early challenges to be the Summer Intern in Finance/F&A Function for 2 months (July & August). Our intern assignments are real Finance work designed to allow you to experience, first-hand, the type of work we do within P&G. As an intern, you can make an impact on the business as well as continue to build your analytical, technical and leadership skills. Most projects offer the opportunity to work with individuals in a variety of capacities within the area you're assigned and, potentially in other functions. You'll have an individualized work plan that will guide you throughout the summer and you'll get coaching from your immediate manager throughout your internship.
