Sr Associate/Manager-RA Data & Analytics for Financial Crimes-HK
Location: Hong Kong
Minimum Years of Experience: 3-8+ years of data assurance, data analysis or data management experience as it relates to supporting business processes, internal auditing or external audit procedures. Position of Senior Associate, Manager or Senior Manager will be granted based on the number of years of relevant experience.
Preferably to have track record of business origination, relevant experience in financial crime advisory projects, Anti Money Laundering, strong relational and project management skills, and are able to develop, in a short time frame, the necessary technical knowledge if needed.
Minimum Degree Required: Qualifications in ‘numerical’ degrees such as; Computer Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Finance or Commerce;
Certification(s) Preferred: Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Oracle Database Administrator (ODA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
Extensive knowledge of financial and operational spreadsheet modelling;
Database concepts including building relationships between tables, grouping data, and following steps to create cohesive analyses.
Data manipulation and analysis technologies inclusive of Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, ACL, ASCII, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, Microsoft .NET framework, HTML or XML.
Experience working with financial crime prevention, compliance and risk management products such as NICE Actimize and Oracle Mantas.
Demonstrates abilities with programming and/or data mining in one or more of the following technology platforms: Oracle Analytics, MS SQL-Server, Actimize and SAS; some proven abilities with utilizing data visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlikview; and some proven familiarity utilizing Hadoop, NoSQL and other Big Data Technologies.
Good understanding of best practice techniques for application of analytics
The desire and ability to also develop your analytical capabilities into new directions
The ability to analyse customer needs and design and build the analytics solution;
Strong time management skills; and
Strong communication skills both oral and written communication.
