Senior Associate/Manager-SAP/ERP Implementation-Risk Assurance-HK

Location: Hong Kong

Job Description & Responsibilities
We are currently looking for strong SAP/ERP professionals with controls and implementation related background. 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting a variety of ERP controls advisory projects covering business processes, access security, data conversion, system interfaces and user acceptance testing for mainly SAP, but also other major ERP solutions (e.g. Oracle); and
  • Interfaces with functional unit process owners and users to identify, define, and document operational needs and objectives, current operational procedures and processses, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access
  • Assess and review the current state of a client’s IT application portfolio including design, documentation, implementation, maintanence and project portfolio of the application portfolio
  • Pre-and post-implementation assurance reviews of the SAP implementation/major upgrades
  • Expected to take a consultant's approach to the attest / assurance process of a client's operations utilising our practice methodology to assess our client's operations
  • Responsible for conveying pragmatic solutions to our client's complex business problems through the use of written reports and presentations 
  • Responsible in supervising, coaching, developing and leading teams and individual team members

  • University degree majoring in accounting, Finance/Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics Mathematics, and/or other business fields of study 
  • Holding any of the following professional qualifications would be an advantage:  CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, or CISM;
  • Minimum 4 years of SAP controls auditing, consulting and/or implementing experience for a technology/business consulting firm or a combination of consulting and technology industry experience, including track record of driving major IT related business change and managing , technical requirements in a phases of an ERP implementation
  • Required gathering and analysis, system design/development, testing, implementation and developing transformation plan
  • Has participated in, and preferably led, the implementation and support of at least two ERP solutions
  • Demonstrates knowledge and experience on mapping and streamlining/reengineering business practices to implement various ERP modules, using standardized implementation methodology including reports specification development and deployment.
  • Understanding clients’ business, industry and/or technologies  and leveraging through project management skills in relation to SAP projects, including developing projects plans, budgets and deliverable schedules
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English and Chinese;
  • Effective project management, interpersonal and influencing skills are essential; and
  • Flexibility to travel to out-of-town engagements
