Senior Associate(Commercial due diligence)-Corporate Finance-Deals ADV

Location: Hong Kong

Job Description & Responsibilities
  • Manage and run small projects with limited supervision;
  • Generate hypotheses and drive the storyboarding process;
  • Conduct financial analysis and detailed review on target projects;
  • Able to apply standard CDD techniques and methods in analysis;
  • Produce client-ready deliverables that require limited review;
  • Able to build financial/business models and perform scenario and sensitivity analysis;
  • Able to support and facilitate meetings with clients and other professional advisors throughout the entire deal cycle;
  • Provide timely feedback and coaching to junior team members;
  • Assist in preparing pitch documents such as proposals and presentations for business development activities; and
  • Develop rapport and working relationships with junior clients and maintain them outside of engagements.

Reporting to: Managers, Senior Managers, Partners
Reporting Staff: Associates


Requirements
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ relevant experience in strategy, commercial due diligence, or consulting experience;
  • Demonstrate an analytical mind-set, intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and creativity
  • Good business sense and commercial awareness;
  • Demonstrate confidence, people skills, ambition and pragmatism;
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure;
  • Ability to work collaboratively;
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • A degree in economics/accounting/business/finance preferred; and
  • Proficient in English and Chinese.
