Manager - Transaction Services - Deals Advisory_HK

Location: Hong Kong

Job Description & Responsibilities
  • Establish role as day-to-day contact on engagements and be seen as trusted advisor by our clients;
  • Lead and deliver small or components of large and complex projects;
  • Co-ordinate and drive the preparation of client deliverables with limited supervision;
  • Assist in preparing pitch documents such as proposals and presentations for business development activities;
  • Demonstrate deep expertise and ability to add sector insights into client deliverables and proposals;
  • Perform financial analysis and review on target projects;
  • Formulate deal rationale and strategy;
  • Able to apply standard working capital management techniques and methods in analysis and implementation;
  • Able to work in conjunction with various professional advisors, including lawyers, to facilitate the client throughout the entire deal cycle;

  • Participate in meetings among clients, counterparts and various professionals; and provide support to the clients in the negotiations; and
  • Motivate, coach and develop team members, and provide constructive upward feedbacks.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in working capital management, strategy, or consulting experience;
  • Demonstrate an analytical mind-set, intellectual curiosity, structural thinking and creativity;
  • Good business sense and commercial awareness;
  • Demonstrate confidence, people and effective communication skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple assignments;
  • Have experience in working with international clients and able to generate ideas and insights quickly;
  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure;
  • Experience with staff development and coaching junior staff;
  • A degree in economics/accounting/business/finance preferred; and
  • Proficient in English and Chinese.
