Job Description

Manager / Sr Mgr -Financial Services -Consulting -Advisory-HK

Location: Hong Kong

As Senior Associate, you will:
  • Be responsible for project deliverables accuracy and quality
  • Work as a subject expert or team leader to deliver consulting assignments to client on-schedule and within budget
As Manager, you will:
  • Plan scope of work, monitor, supervise and review work of staff on financial service engagements
  • Draft reports for partner review and report of findings to clients in a timely manner
  • Participate in major client pursuits including proposal preparation
  • Coach junior team members and provide advice on procedures/work methods to individuals who may be at the same level
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or above in finance, accounting, financial engineering, statistics, actuarial or related disciplines
  • 3-5+ years of global consulting firm or Banking & Capital Markets experience, preferably combined experiences both of consulting firm and FS institution
  • In-depth understanding of the financial services industry business including:
  • Risk Management (including credit risk, market risk, operational risk, liquidity risk, interest rate risk, RWA, ICAAP, stress testing, disclosure, assets and liabilities management, FTP, product pricing, trading transformation, credit management transformation, etc.)
  • Capital Management (including Basel II & Basel III strategic planning and implementation, Solvency II consulting);
  • Regulatory Compliance & Reporting;
  • Process Banking and Operational Excellence;
  • Retail Banking and Branch Transformation;
  • SME Banking;
  • Private Banking and Wealth Management;
  • Risk based Accounting & IFRS Implementation, etc.
  • In-depth understanding of banking operations, IT system and data requirements is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high commitment to quality client service
  • Strong consultation and communication skills, self-initiation, good team player and willingness to work under pressure
  • Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is mandatory
  • SQL / Programming skills or interest in analytic engagements would be a plus
