Job Description:

Our growing Financial Services Advisory team provides strategy, management, technology and risk consulting services to help major financial institutions around the world respond to their most complex business challenges. The Governance, Risk and Compliance team delivers strategic and operational expertise in an increasingly complex global regulatory environment. PwC has deep knowledge and extensive experience to assist financial institutions enhance their risk management capabilities, implement regulatory change and streamline their risk and compliance processes.

Demonstrates success in client-facing risk and regulatory programs, leading various workstreams, with emphasis on the following areas:
  • Strong knowledge of banking and capital markets business model, products and operations
  • Knowledge of key global financial regulations from APAC, EMEA and US regulatory bodies
  • Ability to interpret regulatory rules and guidelines into actionable controls and initiatives for implementation
  • Experience in developing risk and governance operating models, including setting up committees, defining roles and responsibilities and developing policies and procedures
  • Project management skills including resource and timeline planning, maintaining project economics and developing project plans, timelines and progress reports
  • Stakeholder management capabilities to facilitate meetings, write memos, summarize key messages for senior management
  • Ability to run a team and provide coaching, development and mentorship for junior staff
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Years of Experience: minimum 6 years of experience in risk management, operations, compliance or project management capacity within a financial institution, regulatory institution or a consulting firm
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree, with preference for a MSc in finance/economics or MBA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Mandarin highly desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project
