Job Description

DM/Manager-RA-Operations (Financial focus)-HK

Location: Hong Kong

Job Descriptions and Requirements:

  • Prepare operational and management reports and perform relevant data analysis, and provide support to Business Unit leadership team, partners and managers' meetings

  • Assist Business Unit leader in the annual budgeting process; and facilitate on-going financial management such as revenue forecast and sales and pipeline monitoring

  • Monitor staff utilisation and bookings; and resolve resource conflicts

  • Liaise with Human Resources department (HR) on recruitment activities including experienced hires, trainees, secondments and graduates, and other HR matters such as resignations, transfers, pay arrangements, leave management, examination assistance and implementation of HR policies

  • Liaise with the Learning & Development (L&D) department to customise the department’s specific training needs and monitor the completion status

  • Oversee and facilitate the allocation of partners and managers' audit support portfolios

  • Facilitate the promotion and salary review process including preparation of performance dashboard, evaluation meetings and ratings moderation facilitation

  • Work closely with Assurance and Risk Assurance Operations Managers at other locations to ensure alignment of operational practices

  • Act as the central point of contact with other departments including Global Technology Solutions, HR, L&D, Risk and Quality, Marketing and Communications, Administration, etc.

  • Participate in ad hoc projects if required

  • A degree in business administration / accounting / finance preferred

  • A minimum of seven years of working experience with four or more years on a role of administrative management

  • Previous working experience in a professional service firm is desired

  • Previous working experience in a multinational corporation is an advantage

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with Putonghua is an advantage

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong organisational and project management skills

  • Be highly independent, well-organised and self-motivated

  • Able to work under pressure and adaptive to dynamics and changing priorities
