Consultant / Sr Consultant - Knowledge Management (FS) - Assurance

Location: Hong Kong

Job Description:

The Consultant's objective is to -
- Capture and share knowledge within our Financial Services (FS) practice;
- Enhance our existing knowledge platform such that information can easily be retrieved;
- Establish a culture of sharing and collaborating together;
- Leverage expertise and best practice to deliver a unique client experience. 
- Analyze and share market insights
- Drive the knowledge sharing activities to support our Financial Services Sector Leaders and client teams.
- The FS Knowledge Management Consultant will need to work closely with our existing FS Knowledge Management Deputy Manager.  Training and support on this role will be provided.


Improve the sharing of knowledge within the Financial Services practice
· Facilitate and advise on processes to capture, generate, share and leverage best practices from local client teams and the global Financial Services network
· Identify and develop innovative ideas to improve the usage of our knowledge platform
· Proactively identify valuable knowledge to ensure our knowledge platform contains useful and new information
· Provide support to our Financial Services people in sharing and accessing knowledge
· Help put together internal newsbriefs consisting of new joiners' profiles, marketing events, client events, internal events, presentation materials, publications, market insights and success stories

Analyze and share relevant market insights to our Financial Services people in Hong Kong and China
· Help keep our staff up to date on what is happening in the Financial Services industry, as well as what issues our clients are facing
· Identify relevant market insights, analyze and share content that is relevant
· Raise awareness and utilize our Financial Services thought leadership by making sure new publications are shared internally, on our website, and encourage our staff to share them on LinkedIn
· Ensure that new and key Financial Services publications are placed in the meeting rooms and kitchen area, posters are created and posted monthly to inform our people of the publications

Contribute to the key Financial Services initiatives identified by the Global Financial Services Knowledge Management network
· Be aware of the Global Financial Services KM Strategy and support their key initiatives
· Respond promptly to requests for key data to maintain the Hong Kong and China Financial Services capability statement which is shared globally
· Submit key stories in Financial Services practice in Hong Kong  in the Global FS Newsbriefs
· Provide support in collecting PwC Facts & Figures and credentials for Global FS proposals
· Support FSLinks (a global tool which provides a way for people to find others who have worked on similar engagements) and promote the use of our social networking and collaboration tool
· Participate in the monthly Global FS KM network calls to identify action items for the HK and China FS practice


· Financial Services Industry experience and knowledge management background preferred
· Strong communication and presentation skills, including oral and written communication skills, pro-active mind-set
· Interest in learning more about the hot topics and the issues that our clients are facing in the Financial Services industry
