Job Description

Associate, Tax Controversy Services, Tax, Hong Kong

Location: Hong Kong

 Responsibilities      
 
  • Provide tax advisory services to clients in relation to the tax audits being conducted by the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department
  • Handle the tax queries and formulate settlement proposals for clients
  • Review the accounting books and ledgers maintained by clients
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Help clients to comply with their tax compliance obligations, including preparing tax computations and returns,  and handling correspondence with the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department
      
Requirements   
 
  • A recognized accounting or equivalent degree
  • Minimum of one year's tax experience, preferably with experience of field audit / tax investigation
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Chinese typing skills would be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills would be an advantage
  • Analytical-minded and solid in project management
