Assistant Officer-Shared Services-Human Resources (2 years contract)

Location: Hong Kong

Job Description & Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be supporting a wide range of HR services which may include:
  • Assist in the logistics of new joiner onboarding processes;
  • Assist in processing and maintaining qualification membership, admission, verification and other related forms and processes;
  • Assist in pre-client engagement background check process;
  • Work with the team and other departments to administer staff benefits; and
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects or assignments.

Reporting structure & key relationships:

Report to HK HR Service Team Manager

  • Diploma (or equivalent) in Human Resources Management, Commerce, Social Sciences or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 1 year of HR experience, preferably within a professional service or multinational corporation environment;
  • Good command in written English and Chinese (Cantonese), fluency in Mandarin is a plus;
  • Good literacy in computer applications, understanding of social media/new technology is an advantage;
  • Strong client service focus and confidentiality at all levels of the role;
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently;
  • Good organisational and time management skills;
  • Attention to detail and execute a high level of accuracy; and
  • Good interpersonal skills.
