Assistant Manager, Demand Planning

About the Job:
Partner with cross-functional teams to produce accurate demand forecast, manage product supply plan to Asia markets according to revenue/ inventory targets, product launch plans, product mix & life-cycle.

Provide regular/ ad-hoc analytics/ reports and lead dialogues with key counterparts to balance demand/ supply, identify root causes and develop action plans to achieve business goals by improving forecast accuracy, supply fulfilment, inventory turns.

Principal Job Responsibilities:
• Compile demand forecasts by analyzing sales history, seasonality and trends to maintain product portfolio in multiple planning tools. (Logility, TXT)
• Liaise with Merchandising, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain teams to develop short/ long range forecast, track assumptions and rationale and performance analysis to identify the forecast changes and gap.
• Partner with Merchandising team, manage forecast analysis for Asia region, ensure forecast meet the brand footprint according to new product launch, product life cycle, product mix, SKU productivity…etc.
• Provide analytical support highlighting changes of demand plan, forecast accuracy, identify root cause as well as developing action plan to mitigate risks.
• Support regular reporting for business reviews/ meetings.
• Lead demand/supply review meeting with key counterparts to update market information, review demand/ supply situation as well as reaching consensus on action plans.
• Facilitate monthly S&OP process and participate in dialogue with various departments to synchronize information for effective decision making.
• Work closely on business initiatives and to meet the region and corporate organizational goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree preferably in Business, Supply Chain or other related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in demand planning will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Well-organized, logical & mature thinking, attention to details, dedicated, energetic and being a self-starter.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Computer literate with excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Access and other MS Office applications.
• Knowledge on ERP system & planning application, e.g. AX, Logility, TXT would be an advantage.
