Resident Works Supervisor I

Location: Hong Kong

Arup is a global firm of planners, designers, engineers and consultants with over 12,000 employees working in more than 92 offices across more than 40 countries.  The firm is the creative force behind many of the world’s most innovative and sustainable projects.  Our Asia offices employ over 3,000 staff and are engaged in prestigious multi-disciplinary projects covering buildings, infrastructure, transportation, structural, environmental and industrial areas.  We have been appointed as the consultant by the Drainage Services Department, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) for the Lam Tsuen Valley Sewerage project.  This project comprises 3 village sewerage contracts which are all on-going.

The contracts include the construction of approximately 33km sewers and rising mains with diameter ranging from 150mm to 225mm in 27 unsewered villages of Lam Tsuen Valley; construction of 6 sewage pumping stations; and other ancillary works.
We are now inviting applications for the following resident positions for Lam Tsuen Valley Sewerage project works. The incumbent may be required to work irregular hours, overtime and shifts (including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays), and actual arrangement will be determined by supervisors.
Qualifications & Experience required:

• Certificate from Technical Institute or equivalent in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience, OR

• Completed a technician apprenticeship with at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience
