Location: Hong Kong
Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).
Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.

Due to demand, we’ve created an additional role for a Utilities Software Sales Representative. You’ll be selling software including Customer Care & Billing, Meter Data Management, Asset Management, Smart Grid and Mobile Workforce Management.
You are an experienced and sophisticated sales person with extensive knowledge of Utilities who is used to complex sales discussions and cycles with large national or global companies. Your background may be vendor, business partner, integrator or consulting company. Either way, you are results driven and have proven your ability to uncover, lead and close large sales opportunities and manage customers over long sales cycles. Managing accounts across China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
A day in your Oracle life will include:
· Working closely with customers and partners to identify direct or indirect opportunities.
· Account & territory planning plus market penetration analysis and strategy sessions.
· Guiding potential customers through the sales process including business case justification, ROI/COO, RFP/RFI, contract negotiation and setting timeline expectations.
· Building customer credibility and developing and retaining lasting customer relationships.
· Networking with your Oracle colleagues to leverage all potential consulting opportunities.
· Retain or build some subject matter expertise including competitor landscape knowledge.
This is a senior position, therefore, to be successful, you’ll need significant sales experience (ideally with a software vendor), strong networking and client management skills, confidence and credibility in client interactions, a good reputation amongst your peers, lateral thinking - capability to spot those hard to see opportunities - and maturity to enjoy being part of a flexible workforce and virtual team.
