ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will be responsible for implementing ISO22000 Food Safety Management System which is documented as food safety manual, operation procedure, working instruction and HACCP plan to ensure food safety. He/she will conduct microbiological testing on food/environmental samples collected at different food outlets. He/she will also develop sampling plan for the purpose of verification on routine hygiene inspection and to meet regulatory requirements/standards. Besides, he/she will conduct product testing and conduct measurement equipment calibrations. In addition, he/she will assist in routine hygiene inspection, compliant investigation, internal and external audits, training and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements- Higher Diploma or above in Food Science or relevant disciplines
- Hands-on experience in microbiological testing of food is preferred
- Able to work independently in the lab and maintain general laboratory management
- Familiar with HACCP / ISO22000, local food regulatory requirements and standards
