Job Description

Senior Engineer

Location: Hong Kong

Reporting to the Associate Director, you will be responsible for and involved in different engineering projects in Buildings Division. You will be also expected to strengthen technical knowledge and experience of other team members and assist in developing business opportunities.
Your next challenge

  • Act as a team leader in design, construction supervision and project management in plumbing and drainage services aspects
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders for project development and attend meetings when require
  • Produce design reports, detailed design drawings, specification and tender analysis report
  • Prepare and evaluate engineering tenders / bidding documents and project / work scheduling
  • Provide technical expertise, sound advice and solutions
  • Be responsible for project budgeting, project finance management and project performance
  • Participate in fee proposals, technical bids and preparation of presentation slides
  • Be responsible for the production and quality control of the deliverables
  • Ensure compliance of the relevant quality and safety standard, procedures and other statutory requirement
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the team members
What You'll need
  • Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Engineering or related disciplines
  • Chartered Engineer with Corporate membership of HKIE or other equivalent professional bodies
  • Minimum of 3 years’ post chartered experience in plumbing and drainage projects and installation
  • Candidate do not fulfil the above qualifications but possess 6 – 10 years’ experience with solid technical knowledge in Plumbing and Drainage system will be considered for the post of Engineer.
  • Solid experience in design, construction supervision and project management with sound knowledge of the government submission procedures and Code of Practice in Hong Kong is a must
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive, analytical, quality oriented and have a high sense of accountability
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM and MS Office
  • Knowledge of technical software application is an advantage
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
