Technology - Business Analyst / Project Manager, Fixed Income Front Office Systems, Vice President - Hong Kong
Location: Non-Japan Asia-Hong Kong-Hong Kong-Hong Kong
The Fixed Income Technology team is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a solid Business Analysis experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing business analysis and partnering with business stakeholders and development team to deliver technical solutions to Asia Fixed Income business in a timely manner throughout entire project lifecycle.
Typical projects the candidate would be involved are:
? Support a new product to be traded in the region by coordinating relevant IT teams covering front to back systems
? Manage and track the progress of a global multi-year system replacement program
? Management reporting of all the technology projects delivered to fixed income business in Asia
? Project and stakeholder management ? Work closely with stakeholders (sales & trading, desk strategists, COOs, risk management, controllers, operations and technology partners at all levels) for projects delivered to Fixed Income business
? Drive project delivery by maintaining project plans, organize status meetings, and prepare minutes
? Liaise with IT teams negotiating deliveries on the dependencies of the specific projects; escalate blocking issues to the appropriate level of management.
? Provide regular reporting of deliveries against key milestones, proactive notification of risks and issues
? Provide reporting to various Governance Operating Committees and Steering Committees to ensure project statuses are accurate, informative and timely.
? Drive project governance best practices
? 10%-20% other duties as assigned
? 5+ years of business analyst and project management experience, including full end to end project life cycles
? 3+ years functional experience in Fixed Income Trading and Risk Systems
? Strong project delivery skills
? Strong Business analysis and documentation skills with ability to think logically to analyze problems and define efficient solutions.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with representatives of a diverse range of departments globally
? Able to work both independently and with a team in a dynamic environment with high pressure on timeliness and quality of deliveries
? Must be detailed oriented, organized, mature-minded, and self sufficient
? Degree in engineering or technology-related curriculum
? Knowledge of fixed income cash and derivative products, their valuation models, and financial risk management
? Experience of SDLC
