Business Development Manager, Employee Health & Benefits, Hong Kong

  • Generate new business leads through research of client/prospect in internal and external databases

  • Manage own opportunities to achieve individual target

  • Work with a team of BD professionals to prospect and adhere to the sales process

  • Work with EH&B brokers & consultants to expand their existing books

  • Work on ad hoc special projects as assigned to support specific sales & marketing campaigns

  • Act as a strong bridge between the prospect clients and EH&B consultants: able to sell the EH&B services to the potential corporates, as well as cater the sales lead well to the consultants for the desired deliverables from the clients






  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • At least 5-8 years of sales experience in the insurance, consulting (e.g. headhunting company) or professional services industry
  • Knowledge on insurance/ group medical services
  • Have strong network with potential key contacts of the corporate clients (i.e. in-house HR) is highly preferable
  • Able to develop business through multiple channels; client acquisition/ cold call experience is a must
  • Creative and able to think out of the box in exploring new business opportunity
  • Strong verbal and written English and Chinese communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team; utilize existing tools and follow sales protocols and process
  • Able to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline oriented environment
  • Action oriented and strong initiative in driving results
