JOB SUMMARY
 
The Manager, B2B Digital – APEC & China reports to the Director, GSO B2B Marketing & Events – APEC & China and plays a key role in helping to manage and execute GSO B2B Digital initiatives. This role manages the execution and supports the strategic direction of the GSO B2B Digital efforts to achieve awareness and engagement strategies across all brands.  The role serves as the primary manager and business sponsor of the B2B targeting tools, is responsible for identifying, loading and maintaining appropriate content, and experimenting with online targeted B2B marketing scenarios.   This position will partner closely with the GSO leaders, continent teams and regions to provide direction on engaging with consumers through digital channels in support of brand-level efforts. 
   
CANDIDATE PROFILE
   
Education and Experience Preferred
  • 4 year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or Related
  • 4 years of relevant professional experience in marketing or related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance.
   
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
   
  • In alignment with overall B2B Marketing strategy, implement digital marketing plans and activities across the portfolio of brands.
  • Develop communities and generate leads by utilizing digital platforms to drive client engagement and retention
  • Coordinate with stakeholders throughout the region to drive digital solutions that are on time and within budget
  • Lead digital marketing and client experience improvements across online, mobile and digital channels.
  • Align with B2B staff on metrics and develop processes to capture and utilize data for the purposes of continually improving all digital B2B activities
  • Align with regional B2B marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing campaigns.
  • Benchmark activities of key competitors to ensure Marriott stays ahead of B2B digital marketing trends
  • Manage digital marketing budget and campaign tracking and provide reports and updates to Director B2B Marketing
  • Create and execute paid search strategies, design and structure campaigns to maximize ROI and revenue
  • Continually measure and optimize paid search, display and SEO
  • Develop SEO/SEM strategy to help advance digital footprint
  • Identify opportunities and lead development & prioritization of digital testing needs
  • Source & develop (or partner to develop) appropriate/necessary content
  • Provide business & thought  leadership to other business disciplines to coordinate and leverage various targeting efforts
  • Develop presentations and recommendation for Senior Leadership and others on evolution of the personalization program within digital channels
  • Proactively escalate issues, observations, opportunities, and insights to the executive team
  • Work independently, but within established guidelines, producing and analyzing more complex business information to assist in the decision making
