Project Manager, Project and Change Management, Individual Financial Product

Location: HK-HongKong-HKHO-22/F., Tower A, Manulife Financial Centre, 223-231 Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon

Result Areas

  • Drive the project process, communicate progress, ensure resources are committed, identify & resolve project issues
  • Liaise closely with stakeholders to communicate and manage their expectations
  • Assist in establishing control procedures and mechanisms to ensure quality of services
  • Work with stakeholders to identify improvement areas, conduct operations and process analysis to recommend solutions from business perspective

Key Challenges

  • Managing changing and conflicting priorities based on business value
  • Managing priorities within resource constraints – Business, IT or BA
  • Exercising management judgment and resourcefulness in identifying and resolving complex problems
  • Ensuring the readiness of the organization for new features or functions
  • Ability to deal effectively with change

Qualifications

Experience and Qualification

  • Degree holder with at least 5 years of project management experience
  • FLMI, PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt qualification preferred
  • Experience in the individual life insurance industry is preferred
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Project Manager.

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong business analytical and project management skills 
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good organization and problem solving skills
  • Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio and PowerPoint (advanced knowledge of Excel preferred)
  • A passion for quality
  • Independent, mature, self-starter
  • Presentation skills geared to the audience – Working level, Senior Management
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Maintain cross-department relationships to attain collaborative solutions
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of  business units, products, services, and a good understanding of the division and the overall company’s various businesses
