Distribution Technology & Strategic Project team is committed to provide the best set of technology solutions to empower intermediaries (agents, brokers and banks) engage and serve our customers in a simple, effective and human centric manner.

A strong network of intermediaries has been Manulife’s key differentiator in Hong Kong. In a changing industry ecosystem, consumer preference and emerging ‘personal’ technologies, it is critical to provide digital aides to intermediaries to keep them relevant and effective.

Manutouch is an intermediary portal used by tied agents, banks and brokerage. It is the single point gateway for information, reports, proprietary tool and sales aides provided by Manulife to effectively connect, provide customized solution and grow relationships with customers. 15 years old with over 10,000 pieces of content and numerous applications, ‘Manutouch’ has recently been migrated to a modern content management system. In the next 5 years the portal roadmap includes increased focus on mobility, social, business intelligence and personalization.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project progress and resolve project issues
  • Assist in the adoption of Manulife’s flagship digital solution for intermediaries (Manutouch) and related technology initiatives
  • Manage the distribution system enhancement projects from beginning to end
  • Provide adequate support to the production and BAU support team to ensure service quality to distribution channels
  • Liaise closely with stakeholders to communicate and manage their expectations
  • Work with stakeholders to identify improvement areas, conduct operations and process analysis to recommend digital solutions from business perspective
  • Assist in establishing control procedures and mechanisms to ensure quality of services

Qualification

Requirements:
  • Degree holder with at least 7 years of project management experience
  • Experience in managing infrastructure and application team, with experience in content management life cycle
  • Experience in the deployment of digital solution projects is preferred
  • PMP, Prince2 or Six Sigma Green Belt qualification is preferred
  • Experience in the individual life insurance industry is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong business analytical and problem solving skills
  • An outspoken, proactive individual determined for quality
  • Independent, mature and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio and PowerPoint
