Director, Customer Marketing

Location: HK-HongKong-HKHO-22/F., Tower A, Manulife Financial Centre, 223-231 Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon

Role Summary 
  • Oversee and lead the product marketing functions targeting end customer for IFP, IF and EB

Result Areas 
  • Oversee and formulate comprehensive product marketing and customer communication strategies targeting end customers for individual and employee benefits business
  • Drive segmentation campaigns targeting end customers
  • Obtain authorization and manage marketing materials’ submission to regulators
  • Lead the development of marketing collaterals and design advertising and promotion strategies to support product launches and related projects in timely manner
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing team in achieving alignment in total marketing solutions
  • Act as coordinator between product lines and other internal supporting units e.g. data analytics and research team on projects to enhance customer experience and bring customer insights into product development process, aligning with company’s direction towards a customer-centric organization
  • Establish an information delivery and communication mechanism in disseminating customer-needs driven product solution and campaign information to customers

Required Personal Qualities/Skills/Competencies 
  • Degree holder with major in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years working experience with 6 years preferred experience in life insurance industry
  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of life insurance and pension products
  • Strong people management skills with at least 4 years in supervisory role
  • Self-motivated, detail-minded and creative problem-solving
  • Highly effective influencing and interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management
  • Good understanding of regulatory compliance framework
  • Excellent communication skills as well as English and Chinese writing skills
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills
  • Project management skills in meeting tight deadline and marketing budget
  • Professional PC skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
