Programme Assistant

Department of Cultural Studies

The appointee will serve the Master of Cultural Studies Programme (MCS).  He/she is expected to perform clerical-administrative duties for the MCS.  He/she will be responsible for (i) handling MCS student matters, reception service, and general office operations; (ii) managing and maintaining websites; (iii) assisting in the logistics and organization of seminars and other Programme activities.  He/she will also be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Programme Director and the Head of Department.


Requirements

Applicants should have (i) a Diploma / an Associate Degree / a Degree or an equivalent qualification; (ii) one to two years' working experience (fresh graduates are also welcome to apply); (iii) general knowledge in using Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.; (iv) the ability to write and speak effectively in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese. Some experience of promotional design would be preferable.

Salary and Benefits

The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund.
