Product Developer (Bags & Accessories)

A leading fast growing technical athletic brand is looking for a Product Developer to join it's Hong Kong office.

Your role:
  • Manage day to day development posses of functional bags and accessories
  • Source new materials and vendors, identify and establish business relation with new factories for the purpose of expanding company's business.
  • Arrange various chemical / physical materials testing on new products, ensure supplier could fulfill company's material standard and safety.
  • Follow up price quotation after samples were made.
  • Regular meeting with designers and factories to ensure samples met the deadline.
  • Share new technologies, materials and knowledge with team members.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • At least 5 years experience in product development for technical bags and accessory product.
  • Strong technical knowledge of performance product and fit
  • Strong technical construction knowledge for product manufacturing
  • Strong team player, knowledge of x-functional team accountabilities and requirements preferred, including design, materials, sourcing, merchandising and quality assurance
  • Experience in building BOM, measurement and technical packages
