Regional Sales Manager

Location: Asia-Hong Kong-Central and Western

SUMMARY

  • Oversees APCA sales activities of organization by performing the following duties
  • Carries responsibility for achieving regional sales targets for all product categories and channels

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program
  • Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
  • Manages international showroom activity in connection with key selling market timing
  • Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques
  • Works with global sales team to establish cultural ‘best practice’ sales strategies to be implemented in APAC
  • Works with distributors to evaluate markets
  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist distributors
  • Develops tradeshow participation and selling strategies regionally, and coordinates international activity with local sales management
  • Meets with distributors, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals, participating in key distributors presentations as needed
  • Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements
  • Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Monitors, evaluates and reports on the activities and products of the competition
  • Submits briefs for research and development work
  • Any other assignments as assigned

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree or above, MBA preferred
  • 10 years or above with related experience and/or training in Sales Management, preferably in sports & lifestyle field with APAC exposure in MNCs
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and willing to handle concurrent tasks.
  • Ability to work with, supervise, and motivate employees with a wide range of skills and abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, organized and have excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, social networks and familiarity with small network needs.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
