Regional IT Project Manager

Location: Asia-China-Hong Kong-Wan Chai

SUMMARY

The position will coordinate & keep track all main projects in the region. Will be involved to initiate project portfolio, prioritize, planning, monitor the execution and analysis performance and risk.
Update project status to global PMO and regional management team monthly / quarterly basis to align regional project delivery status – budget, timing, resource, quality and issues.

Need to setup regional project management Governance that should be align global PM methodology and apply best practice to project management area to manage better project process, organization and execution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Attend regular PMO meeting with Kering global IT department to update, contribute to prepare global PMO report to stakeholders.
  • Organize regular meeting with Kering APAC region / country IT team to update on project status and summarize status.
  • Be responsible to monitor, engage team the portfolio & project management tool to ensure all status are updating properly up to date.
  • Prepare project status report by brand to support steering committee with each brand HQ.
  • Involvement to define, list up new initiated project list in the region regularly, prioritize, identify project manager, monitor end to end project life cycle.
  • Update the project delivery status, quality and risk analysis
  • Setup & enhance existing project methodology and templates material to ensure a consistent approach to the same initiative across the region.
  • Involve capacity management to keep measure resource spending by projects, control resource plan.

Qualifications

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information System, Business Administration or other related field.
  • Team /customer-oriented attitude and working style
  • Good communication skills and fluency in both spoken and written English
  • More than 10 years relevant experience in project management, PMO functions and at least 5 years in retail industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership & positive mind set.
  • IT consulting experience is a plus.
  • Multinational country, multi culture experience is a plus
  • Project Management Profession certification ( PMP ) or equivalent experience.
