Job Description

Merchandising Assistant

Location: Asia-Hong Kong

Role Mission

This role is responsible for assisting Buyer to manage the operation for her responsible categories including inventory management support, periodical sales analysis and training material preparation.


Key Accountabilities  

  • To monitor sales, inventory and delivery status of merchandise
  • To provide clerical support and assist buyer in all merchandising routine functions for the responsible categories
  • To generate and review periodical reports for sales analysis
  • To communicate closely with stores for product feedback and comments
  • To support buyer on product training and workshop preparation
  • To support market research and competitor analysis


Key Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion or related discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant merchandising experience, preferably in luxury retail industry 
  • Detail oriented, good numeric sense and able to handle multi-tasks
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
