The team focuses on execution of acquisition finance, leveraged finance, bridge loans, share backed finance and Illiquid finance representing CIB Credit Risk. Team works closely with business partners from SLF, SSG, Illiquids Financing and with Country & Regional Credit Executives. Key focus is on due diligence, structuring, negotiation and documentation of such transactions as well as portfolio management responsibilities post closing of deals. The team also works closely with credit officers from countries across the region.
Individual will be expected to take a leading role on end to end execution of transactions including due diligence, structuring, preparing credit packages, negotiation of term sheets and loan documentation for such transactions and will continue with an active post deal monitoring role.
The individual will also have managerial responsibilities for Analyst within the team including training / mentoring for junior team members.
Minimum 6 years credit related experience
Bachelor degree (or above) from reputable college or university
Exposure to structured financing transactions and knowledge of derivatives
Familiarity with term sheets and complex loan documentation and taking an active role in identifying key issues / concerns around structure and credit
Strong analytical and credit skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong ability to navigate through complex financial models
Ability to take a leading role on due diligence, with a mindset to question and cross check information supplied
Ability to work under tight timelines and multi-task
Flexible mindset with a solution orientation (going beyond identification of risks)
Active listener and strong teamwork/partnership approach (both with business partners and others within Credit)
