In the Asia Pacific region, J.P. Morgan Asset Management has eight offices, including a joint venture in China. The Global Funds Management (“Funds”) businesses in each location serves financial intermediaries and individual investors; providing clients with access to J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s extensive range of investment solutions across all asset classes.
The Global Strategic Relationship (GSR) Group, Asia Pacific is responsible for providing dedicated coverage to investment decision makers and research teams of key Funds clients across the region, working closely with GSR and Investor teams globally in addition to local Client Advisors to strategically grow these relationships and our overall Funds business.
We seek a high caliber candidate to perform the following role:
Executive Director, Global Strategic Relationships, Asia Pacific
Strategically manage and grow J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s relationship with key global and regional clients
Partner closely with Client Advisor and Investor teams to align regional product/business strategy and prioritization
Coordinate with GSR teams globally to ensure consistency and deliver integrated client engagement
Leverage strong client, product and platform expertise to identify product solutions and explore new business opportunities
University graduate with minimum 10 years of account management, mutual fund and/or financial product related experience; prior industry experience in Banking or an investment management firm managing global/regional internal/external relationships preferred.
Must demonstrate a strong understanding of financial markets and investment products
Team player who is self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
Excellent strategic planning, project/time management and organizational skills showcasing the ability to manage challenging deadlines
Exemplary communication, client engagement and interaction skills
Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin and other languages a plus
PC Skills - MS Office and Bloomberg; Morningstar a plus
Professional qualifications such as CFA charter holder and/or CAIA designation preferred
