The successful candidate will help lead the APAC CRM (Client Relationship Management) and Sales Management Information (Sales MI) team engaging with many areas of the business to manage the CRM platform in the region as well as delivering reporting solutions to support the regional sales teams, including the continual development of our visualization, business intelligence and data warehousing capability.
The Team:
The role of the APAC CRM & Sales MI team is to support the J.P. Morgan Global Investment Management (GIM) Funds and Institutional businesses, as well as drive related strategic projects within the wider business that help decision makers shape the future of the business.  Through the provision of information, analysis and actionable insight on the fund management business, and through programme management of processes and technology innovations.
Following the successful implementation of a new Global CRM & MIS platform, the business team was formed and is part of the Global CAO support organization. 
The platform supports 70+ business groups, 2,400 users and 30 core Client Lifecycle processes covering Sales, Marketing, Client Service, MIS / Business Intelligence and Finance. 
The team is responsible for supporting a diverse range of business process and reporting needs across our Global Investment Management organization.   
The APAC CRM & Sales MI team supports several functions for the GIM Asia Pacific business: 
  • Management of the CRM platform in the region including process and improvement, user training, adoption and development
  • Core reporting and analysis – using Business Objects tools and Qlikview to provide reports and analysis from key information platforms
  • Asia Data Warehouse enhancements – Analysis, oversight, testing, user acceptance for various strategic projects and business-as-usual enhancements
  • Development of new reporting solutions
  • The Information Management team works very closely with Management, Finance, Sales/Sales Support, and other internal partners in leveraging/customizing system functionality to facilitate the sales process, e.g., prospecting clients, maintaining client relationships, and tracking sales activity and performance.  
Role Profile:
  • The role provides visibility to senior business management, country heads and sales people through the delivery of information that drives business decisions and understanding
  • It is an excellent opportunity to build a thorough understanding of the APAC Investment Management business, its distribution channels and products
  • Working with the Asia distribution teams, Product Development, Product Strategy, Fund Support & Management and Finance globally affords further insight into the Asset Management business and our mutual fund vehicles
  • Ensuring the CRM platform is fit for purpose as a fundamental tool for the business
  • Developing reports and capabilities that deliver real benefit to the business
  • Managing issue resolution, taking responsibility for escalation, options evaluation and management through to resolution
  • Management of reporting dashboards and insightful analysis of the distribution business
  • Asset, flows and retained revenue modelling
  • Sales Office and reporting efficiencies

  • 10+ years of experience in the Asset Management industry
  • Experience with CRM ( or alike)
  • Understanding of Cognos, Business Objects or base SAS (including macros)
  • Highly analytical
  • Project Management – Ability to lead programs from end-to-end, while balancing the interest of different parties and understanding the needs of front office / management, the capability of Operations and the available resources of the Technology team.
  • Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Team player with an open attitude to sharing ideas and knowledge
  • A fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in spoken and written Mandarin is desirable
  • Client Centric - Build relationships quickly, build deliverables with a client perspective

  • Understanding of Data Warehousing methodologies, particularly dimensional models
